DFID R4D Research for Development Gateway

A range of services have been developed to make the datasets held within R4D accessible to other organisations and individuals to enable others to reuse this knowledge and build and extend applications in new and creative ways. R4D provide two main services for the delivery of research metadata: 1. the Research for Development Gateway - http://r4d.dfid.gov.uk/Gateway/?verb=Identify The R4D Gateway uses an older and more established method for exchange of publication metadata using OAI_DC Dublin Core XML and RDF. 2. the Linked Development platform - http://linked-development.org/about.html Linked Development provides all the same data plus much more in a powerful triple store and API. For more detailed information on how to access and use our information, please see our R4D Open Data information page (URL link to be provided once ready for release on 27/8/2013). Please note that these services both now come under the name of R4D Open Data to reflect the addition of the Linked Development platform to the Gateway in August 2013.
