2011 Census statistics provide a rich source of information about the number, distribution and characteristics of the population in England and Wales as at census day (27 March 2011). This release provides Detailed Characteristics tables on the topic of Communal Establishments. Detailed Characteristics are cross tabulations of two or more topics from the census that provide the greatest level of detail possible for these administrative areas.
