The aim of this cruisećwas to investigate the distributionćand abundance of planktonic fish eggs and larvae, zooplankton predators and competitors and phytoplankton using the Lowestoft multipurpose plankton sampler. In addition, replicate hauls were carried out with the multi-purpose plankton sampler near a parachute drogue, in areas of high and low larval densities, to estimate haul-to-haul variation.
