River flow data measured every 15 minutes at the Cyff at Cyff site. The data spans from 1973 to 2008. The units are m3/s. The station is registered within the National River Flow Archive as 55034. The gauge is a rectangular side contracted critical depth flume. The catchment is a headwater tributary of the River Wye and has an area of 3.1 km2. The catchment is unforested natural and partially reseeded grassland and has a high annual rainfall (approximately 2500mm). The geology is Ordovician grits, shales, slates and Silurian mudstones.
